Decatur, Georgia is a great spot for Romantic Hotels outside the city of Atlanta. We checked into the lovely Laurel Hill Bed & Breakfast for a wonderful Romantic Getaway. Their Loft Suite was huge, with its king-sized sleigh bed and spacious sitting area. We were entranced with the exquisite Laurel Suite. The Patio Room was perfect for evening relaxation and comfort. This B&B offers reasonable rates and a delightful continental breakfast with extended hours each morning.
Travel Guides and patrons commend the University Inn at Emory, “Better Customer Service than the Ritz!” Within walking distance of university facilities and close to downtown Decatur, the Inn offers reasonable rates, beautifully furnished guestrooms, and a tasty breakfast each morning. This B&B is kid-friendly, pet-friendly, and sports the added attractions of its own outdoor pool. You’ll find large and comfortable sitting areas; kitchenettes are available, too.
Would you prefer posh, dramatic décor in an upscale neighborhood? We enthusiastically recommend the King Keith House for your Romantic Getaway to Decatur, Georgia. Romantic Couples enjoy the added privacy of “The Cottage,” located in the tranquil backyard gardens. The Downstairs Suite is a great choice for families in this kid-friendly B&B; however, our favorite was the King Room, with its dramatic colors and Victorian and stained glass collectibles.
