Taking everyone in the family for a vacation in Gulf Shores, Alabama can be quite tricky, especially when the children are in certain ages in which no two of them like the same thing. Luckily, many tourist attractions in Gulf Shores appeal to all travelers of all ages. There are also numerous Gulf Shores family hotels that have amenities for babies, toddlers, children, and young teenagers. These kid friendly hotels also offer travel guides that recommends places to visit and things to do.
However, the folks of Gulf Shores agree that for ultimate family fun, there are three key attractions that should not be missed. The first is a cruise of the Mobile Bay that will allow opportunities for spotting dolphins, as well as see the historic Fort Morgan. The second is a whole day stay at the Waterville, a 20-acre amusement park that features several slides, rides, an arcade, and a mini-golf course. There is also a café and pizza kiosk for adventurous kids that became hungry. And the third attraction is the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo. It protects over 350 animals. The kids can stay on elevated decks to have a better view of alligators and wallabies. There is also an Aviary as well as a Petting Zoo. Similar to the park, there are concessions, picnic areas, and a gift shop.
