Located in South Alabama, Mobile is a relatively large city with around half a million people. It has a historic and interesting heritage that attracts travelers from all over the country. But aside from the fact that it is home to the original Mardi Gras, there are various reasons why you should visit Mobile. For example, the Historic Fort Conde which is located in South Royal Street was built in 1723 and admission is free.
On the other hand, the Bellingrath Gardens located in Gardens Road is a 65-acre garden state that is open throughout the year since 1934; there are packages you can take advantage of such as the river cruise or even the guided tour of the Bellingrath Museum Home. Mobile is also known for its military history so you should make it a point to visit the Battleship Memorial Park; you can view the USS Alabama and the USS Drum here.
As you can see, Mobile is definitely an interesting place to visit with your loved one so it is also essential for you to consider where you will be staying at. Some recommended Mobile Romantic Bed and Breakfast includes the Courtyard Mobile, the Fairfield Inn Mobile, the Microtel Inn & Suites Mobile, the Holiday Inn, and the Mobile Marriott.
