I did call Hotels.com and was transferred 2-3 times before getting an agent to return my call to discuss the LARGE difference in charges. more on TripAdvisor

The complex was built in the 80s but I really liked the layout with the large breezeways to the rooms. more on TripAdvisor

The beach is suffering from the effects of the oil spill but the local clean up crews were really going above and beyond to keep the beach in shape for sunbathing. more on TripAdvisor
