I am an Alaskan and this hotel is set near downtown yet off a hill and secluded enough to be quiet. Breakfast buffet is helpful, the hotel is clean with ample parking THe pool is very small yet cheery with sky windows and colorful kites suspended from above. The Comfort Inn Ship Creek is located down the hill from Downtown Anchorage near the Train Depot, and Ship Creek. This area was the original townsite of Anchorage. Stayed at Comfort Inn Ship Inn on 21 July 2007 in room with 2 double beds.
