When taking a vacation in Alaska, one of the best places to visit is Seward. Located near the Resurrection Bay on the Peninsula of Kenai, the Seward is one of the world’s most scenic communities. In fact, it earned the name of “Gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park.” Thus, to make the family vacations fun and exciting, the travelers must first arrange two things: accommodations and transportation. Due to the topography of the place, there will be no high-rising five-star hotels. However, there are comfortable Seward family lodgings that offer warm hospitality. If the family wanted to enjoy the ocean, they can stay at the Hotel Edgewater. And if the travelers wanted to stay close to the harbor, they can stay at the Holiday Inn Express.
Having the ability to move around and tour the town is the key in having fun in Seward. But there are many ways to move around Seward. The family may go on a cruise and may use the A Alaska Transportation Group, Inc or the Alaskan Splendor. The family may also want to be in a bus or a limousine and may use the A Limousine of Alaska or the Alaska Timber Wolf Tours. Or the family may want to take the scenic route of the railroad and ride in the Alaska Railroad. Whichever method preferred, the Seward will be an unforgettable vacation destination.
