There are many hotels in Calgary, but I would stay out of the downtown area, as it was very fast-paced, but if you like that, I suggest that you pick a hotel downtown. more on igougo

I really enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn on Mcleod. My 7yr old and I came into the city for the Hilary Duff concert and we were close enough to the sadledome for a quick cab ride, so we never had to worry about catching a sub-way. ... more on Yahoo! Travel
