We could not get a room at the EL Tovar so we stayed here 2 nights, the only room available IN GC National Park. I smoke and had to go outside in 10 degree cold, no smoking rooms.

Upon arrival we had not had an opportunity to eat our box lunch from the "Freedom Tour" and, as it was raining outside, we asked permission to eat it in the cafeteria. We were denied. The room was certainly adequate and the view, ... more on Yahoo! Travel

All of the staff were very freindly and extreemly helpful. The lodge was very clean & tidy. The rooms were adquate, it was disapointing to discover that there were no refridgerators in the rooms.
