very noisy - little sleep

Check in was pretty easy, considering we arrived at 11pm, a telephone number was left on the door and a chap came down to let me in and check us in for the night. Honeymoon hooting

Searching for somewhere to stay in Kingman, we came upon the Hotel Brunswick. My heart sank as we rolled up alongside an apparently derelict three by three flat roofed block but when I realised that this was, indeed, a derelict flat roofed block and that the Hotel Brunswick was next door the outlook improved. Peering through the window into a rather nice looking restaurant, we decided to investigate further. On going in to discuss rooms with a charming young man with his boots on the desk, a train passed close by. Not one of those well brought up English trains that make varyingly successful efforts to be seen and not heard, but a monster, that could only be the product of the American love of excess - 150 trucks long and ...
