Payson, Arizona is a unique Arizona town in that it offers beautiful mountains, wide-open spaces, and a proud western heritage. There are plenty of things to do and see in "The Rim Country:” fine dining; shopping; museums; the Zane Grey cabin replica; outdoor activities, such as hiking, biking, bird watching, fishing, golfing and scenic drives, just to name a few.
Payson Arizona Hotels offer a wide diversity, ranging from well known national chains to local lodges and inns. The Christopher Creek Lodge and Motel is located on the banks of the Christopher Creek. The first cabin was built in 1950, and the lodge has slowly grown over the years to include many cabins and an actual lodge. Lodging includes motel accommodations, as well as cabins and tandem units, all with cable TV. The cabins and tandem units have a fully equipped kitchen area, but guests need to bring their own bedding and linens.
The Majestic Mountain Inn has rooms with gas fireplaces, Jacuzzis for two, and French Country decor. The Inn features a pool, courtyard rooms with patios, yummy snacks, free continental breakfast, and a steakhouse next door. Rooms include TV, VCR, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Some rooms even include a gas fireplace. The Inn offers a romance package which includes extra pampering for the romantic couple.
If you're looking for Payson Arizona Hotels that are lower in price, the Motel 6 has received rave reviews. It's within a mile of restaurants, with rooms that have cable TV. Non-smoking and pet designated rooms are available. Kids stay free, which helps reduce costs.
