The hotel may be historic, but I didn't enjoy staying there. Carpets are way beyond needing replacement, bathroom features are very old, shower head is hand-held, windows don't open, can't control temperature, rooms are small (even the upgraded window-view) rooms, which ... ""Nice Hotel rate was 1/3 of the Hyatt. Within walking distance of Convention Center. Fine on site eating on premises and with a couple blocks. There was a lot of noise from nearby construction.
