Tourism in the City of Scottsdale, Arizona is geared towards
an environmental advocacy. That is, for nature to be enjoyed, the people must
also take efforts to preserve its beauty. To share the beauty of this city with
the rest of the world, the people encourage travelers to come and spend a few
days. The travel can be business-related, romantic getaways, family vacations,
and even vacations with cats and dogs. Thus, there are several Scottsdale
hotels that are pet-friendly and there are three Scottsdale Parks that allow
dogs to run off leash.
These are the 100-acre Chaparral Park and Community Center where visitors can also boat and fish from the 10-acre lake, the 24-acre Horizon Park and Community Center that has several ball courts as well as facilities for business conferences and wedding receptions, and the 71-acre Vista del Camino Park and Community Center that features a Frisbee-golf area as well as playgrounds. In all these pet friendly parks, only two dogs per visitor are allowed. And when in Scottsdale, Arizona, the travelers may want to try to take the free rides offered by either the Downtown Trolley or the Neighborhood Trolley. Riding in Scottsdale Trolleys is a convenient way of seeing many areas of the city.
