Not Bad for a 2-star Hotel
Let me preface this review by saying that the Desert Quail is a 2 star hotel. If you are looking for a 4 star experience do not stay here. As long as you keep this in mind, I don't think you will be disappointed in what they have to offer. I would equate the Desert Quail to an older Hampton Inn. ... ESAC, a user of Tripadvisor. I liked the hotel would stay at it again but the construction on 179 leaves a lot to be desired. I tried to go for a drive and decided it was easier to walk since traffic was backed up every where you went. IF YOU ARE COMING IN ON I-40/ TAKE I-17 SOUTH AT FLAGSTAFF TO EXIT 298. MAKE A RIGHT AT THE STOP SIGN AND TRAVEL APPROXIMATELY 7 MILES TO THE SECOND TRAFFIC LIGHT. PROCEED THROUGH THE INTERSECTION ANOTHER 200 FEET AND WE ARE ON THE LEFT -6626 HWY. 179.
