Exceeded all expectations
Made it a point to visit La Posada after reading articles about the restoration and the history of the site. Wow. I can see how this is one of the biggest historic restoration stories in the western US. Hidden Gem
Stayed here for two nights as we used this hotel as a base to visit the surrounding area - very little in Winslow itself. This is a hacienda-style Santa Fe Railroad hotel built in 1930. It's all been said before about this unbelievable hotel, and the great reviews are all true. La Posada is a must see must do piece of history. The negative reviews on La Posada and the town of Winslow are totally unjust and incorrect! We stayed there (two Europeans couples touring the US) for two nights in June and we can only say that we all had a great “American” experience.
