Poor hotel resting on some kind of imagined laurels
When I got to my hotel room I found the fascilities to be less than adequate. When I spoke to the GM Joseph Rantisi, he told me that since I had checked in, I would not be able to leave his property without having to pay for a full night. FROM AIRPORT TAKE I-440 WEST TO I-30 EAST. ON I-30 EAST TAKE EXIT NUMBER 141A- MARKHAM AND CANTRELL STREET EXIT. VEER TO THE RIGHT AND FOLLOW THE SIGNS THAT READ CONVENTION CENTER. THIS WILL LEAD YOU TO THE RED LIGHT JUST AHEAD. GO STRAIGHT THROUGH THE LIGHT 3 BLOCKS TO LOUISIANA. MAKE RIGHT ON LOUISIANA AND GO 1 BLOCK TO MARKHAM AND THEN ANOTHER RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL. VALET PARKING IS AVAILABLE.
