Overlooking the world below is one of life’s luxuries. Staying in one of the top 6 tallest hotel rooms* in the world can be defined as pure luxury. This list could also be titled “Top 5 Tallest Hotel Rooms in Dubai except for that first one in Saudi Arabia (because that one is ginormous) so I had to make it Top 6 Hotel Suites to make room for a non-Middle East country”.
Compiled below is the top 6 tallest hotel rooms and hotel suites in the world.
#1 Abraj Al Bait Towers (opening mid-2010)
Mecca (Mekkah), Saudi Arabia
Height: 1,952 ft – 76 stories
Reservations: not accepted at this time
(note: Unless you’re a devout Muslim and can pretty much prove you are, you’re not getting into Mecca. As cool as this place would be to see in person, many people will never get the chance as only Muslims are allowed in the city of Mekkah.)
#2 Rose Rayhaan by Rotana, aka Rose Tower
Height: 1,092 ft – 72 stories
Reservations: King Deluxe Room (available up to the 65th floor) – under $200/night (suite & penthouse rates not available)
#3 Burj al Arab
Height: 1,060 ft – 60 stories
Reservations: Deluxe 3-Bedroom Suite – $8,200/night
#4 Jumeirah Emirates Hotel Tower
Height: 1,014 ft – 56 stories
Reservations: Royal Suite – $2,500/night
#5 The Address Downtown Dubai
Height: 1,004 ft – 63 stories
Reservations: Executive Suite – $790/night; Bentley ride from airport to hotel – $137 (not bad if you ask me)
#6 Baiyoke Sky Hotel in Baiyoke Tower II
Height: 997 ft – 85 stories
Reservations: Presidential Suite 2 Rooms (Space Zone) – $485/night
Now, if anyone wants to send me around the world to test these suites out for myself, my calendar is wide open.
