Want to step February school vacation week with your kids in Boston? For the second year in a row, the Hotel Commonwealth in Kenmore Square Boston will host the Bedtime Stories storytelling and pajama party for families visiting Boston during February school vacation week. Kids are encouraged to wear their PJs and listen to storytellers and performers from ReadBoston. The event also features a make-your-own hot chocolate bar – sure to be a hit with the little ones.
I’d recommend that you make a mini-vacation out of it by considering the Hotel for Kids package that the Hotel Commonwealth is offering. On Friday, February 25, 2011, you can take advantage of a $219 rate which includes a kids’ pancake making class in the morning.
The package includes:
- Accommodations for up to two adults and two children (extra children can be added to the package for $49 per child) in a Commonwealth Suite which offers more than 500-square feet of space.
- A backpack for children with LL Bean slippers, a bedtime story, and a Teddy bear
- Cookies and milk
- Free valet parking
- Extra nights are available for $169 each night
The package is available after February 25th also – after that first night, the rate goes up to $289 per night through March 31, 2011.
