Bloggers Hit Las Vegas

Another day, another blog conference.

For a bunch of people who spend most of their time talking to friends in the computer, bloggers sure like to get together for massive in-person parties as often as possible!  (No, not party.  Conduct very, very serious business.  Especially if you do this for a living and these conferences are business tax-deductible expenses.  Ahem.)

About 4,000 bloggers are expected to attend BlogWorld in Las Vegas from October 14th through the 16th.  The conference is being held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center on the South end of the Strip (or Las Vegas Blvd, if you’re looking at an actual map.)  While many attendees have had their travel plans booked for months, some people *coughmecough* are still finalizing their trip details.  Are you still looking for a Las Vegas hotel for the weekend of BlogWorld?  We have suggestions to meet every budget.

Las Vegas Hotels For BlogWorld

Four Seasons Las Vegas

Four Seasons - the Four Seasons brand is synonymous with elegance and luxury, and the Las Vegas property is no exception.  BlogWorld attendees will enjoy the convenient location; the Four Seasons is actually located on the top floors of the Mandalay Bay hotel.  This is one of the few hotels without a casino, although you can easily access one via a private elevator.  If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway steps from the conference, you may be happy to pay a little more to stay here – and you will.  Rooms start at about $279 per night.

Luxor – just as conveniently located with much more Vegas! vibe, the glass pyramid is connected to Mandalay Bay by an indoor mall.  Guests can also travel between the properties by tram, or step outside and cross the street.  Luxor is also one of BlogWorld’s official housing providers, offering attendees discounted rates.

Motel 8 –  Hear me out.  Yes, it’s a Motel 8.  But it’s a Motel 8 on the Strip, across the street from where the convention is being held and free in-room wireless is included in the price.  And the price?  About $40 a night.  If you’re traveling on a budget, this Motel 8 can meet all your needs at an incredibly low price.  (If you can’t bring yourself to check into a “motel”, check out some other popular but cheap hotels in Las Vegas.)

Hooters Casino and Hotel – If you’re searching for a hotel on the Strip, you might miss this deal.  The delightfully tacky hotel is located on E. Tropicana Avenue, just around the corner from the Tropicana and a short walk to Las Vegas Blvd.  Rooms for the weekend of BlogWorld are currently priced between $29 and $99 for Bungalows.
