  20. Siesta Key Beach, Florida: Siesta Key Beach won the “Great International White Sand Beach Challenge” in 1987 for having the finest white sand in the world. Siesta Key Beach is made up of 99% quartz, which is rare since most beaches have a composite consisting mostly of coral. Siesta Key, a popular tourist destination, has limited parking spots, so make sure to get there early while making plans.
