There is accommodation at several price-points in South Africa‘s Kruger National Park. If The Ultimate Safari Package from Lagoon Beach Hotel wasn’t enough for you, here are five ways you can sleep with the elephants, lions, rhinos, leopards and buffalo. Oh my.
Bush Lodges & Camps: With a variety of choices, the Kruger National Park Bush Lodges and Camps take you right into the park. You’ll be sleeping in cottages, cooking for yourselves and guided by park officials. Some camps run on solar power, others have limited power. The Kruger National Park Private Satellite Camps are also available for the rugged, die-hard camper. This city girl would not survive!
Private Concession Lodging is a little closer to a hotel atmosphere. With the exception of authentic Buffalo dung walls (hey, it’s part of the experience), this option offers comfortable beds draped in mosquito netting, an en-suite bathroom and outdoor shower.
Got the family with you? There are several options for you from tenting it to premier Family Lodging, Safari style.

Whatever your budget, you’re going to want to check out Kruger National Park’s specials for Easter (April 1-5, 2010), Freedom Day Weekend (April 23-27, 2010) and Human Rights Weekend (March 19-22, 2010).
If you don’t want to stay home and watch Africa anymore, it’s waiting for you.
