The Fairmont Copley Plaza at Night

Are you looking to visit Boston with your family? If so, you may want to stay in a historic hotel, in the center of the action in Boston, but with modern amenities and nice-sized rooms. Last year, when I first stayed at the Fairmont Copley Plaza, I was surprised to find out how modern and luxurious the rooms are – it’s a great hotel to stay in with the family, and you can walk to many attractions, or easily get their via public transportation.

This year, the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel is offering a New England Aquarium Family Package. The package starts at $239 per night and includes the following:

• Accommodations for four in an elegant guestroom
• Four tickets (two adults, two children) to the New England Aquarium, right on the Boston Harbor

The Fairmont Copley Plaza offers 383 guestrooms and suites, all with modern amenities including high-speed internet access, flat-screen televisions, pillow-top mattresses, and iHome docking stations.  There are a variety of room types, and the standard Fairmont rooms are 260-280 square feet – a rather large room by city standards.  The hotel is in the perfect location for some excellent shopping – it’s directly across the street from Copley Place, a high-end mall, and a few streets over from the world-famous Newbury Street.
