Many families in the Boston area take the annual summer pilgrimage to the White Mountains of New Hampshire, where there are loads of activities for kids of all ages.  There are loads of places to stay in the White Mountains, from private vacation homes and condos, to bed and breakfasts, to hotels and motels.

One of the recent additions to the White Mountain hotel scene is the Marriott Residence Inn North Conway, which opened just a year and a half ago.  This past weekend, we spent a night at the hotel and had the chance to check it out.

The Marriott Residence Inn North Conway offers 108 suites including studios, one-bedrooms, and two-bedrooms.  We stayed in a one-bedroom executive suite, with a king bedroom and a living room with a pullout couch.  The room was luxuriously decorated, and included some wonderful amenities, such as a fireplace, stainless-steel appliances, a comfy bed, and complimentary WiFi.

The hotel itself also offers some great amenities, including a free breakfast, computers in the lobby, an indoor pool, fitness center, and guest laundry.  It’s also centrally located, just a few minutes from the Settlers’ Green Outlets, and down the street from Storyland, Attitash, Cranmore Mountain, and other popular attractions.  For families looking for a bit more than a standard hotel room can offer, it’s really a great solution!
