I love a good Sky Miles promotion. Delta recently sent out an email about Hilton hotels, which includes Homewood Suites - if you book anytime between now and the February 28, you can get six times the number of Sky Miles you usually get! My boyfriend was already planning a boys trip to Tampa, Florida, later this month, and he booked at the Homewood Suites there - it ended up being a pretty sweet deal (apologies for the pun.) Not only did he get great hotel, but he racked up over 3,000 Sky Miles with Delta, without ever leaving the ground. I believe that’s enough for $50 off his next flight. Pretty cool, huh?

Homewood Suites in Tampa, Florida

The Homewood Suites in Tampa looks really nice (it’s a Hilton hotel), and it gets great reviews. All rooms are two-room suits, and they come with large sitting areas and a nice kitchen. High-speed Internet access is free in all of the rooms, and you can get On Demand movies. The hotel has plenty of business amenities, too, such as meeting rooms and equipment rental, so it’s a good choice for play and work. The hotel also offers something called the Welcome Home Reception, which gives you free light meals and drinks Monday-Thursday evenings. And, this Homewood Suites is close to many area attractions including Busch Gardens and Ybor City.

When it was all said and done, my boyfriend was able to reserve two rooms for two nights for a total of $600. Split between five guys, this is a great deal.
