A View of the Seaport Hotel from the Boston Harbor

Within the last few years, the South Boston Seaport Waterfront area has undergone an amazing transformation, from an area with unpaved parking lots (lovingly called mud lots) to an area of economic revitalization.  New restaurants, museums, and a large convention center have opened, alongside a variety of luxury hotels.  Here are just a few of the new hotels located right in the heart of the South Boston Seaport Waterfront.

The Seaport Hotel was the first of the hotels to open, back in the 90s.  It’s located across from the Seaport World Trade Center, and offers luxury suites, a service-inclusive policy, a fitness center, and other amazing amenities.  There’s parking available in an underground garage, and the silver line (public transportation) is just a short walk away.

The Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel offers 471 guest rooms and a delicious on-site restaurant from celebrity chef Michael Schlow.  The hotel also has a fitness center, along with a lap pool.  It too is within walking distance of the silver line, and is very close to Logan Airport.

The Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel is adjacent to the new convention center and offers 793 guest rooms with the signature Westin Bed.  There’s a fitness center, indoor pool, business center, and kids’ club, along with other wonderful amenities.
