The Fairmont Copley Plaza, located on the on the original site of the Museum of Fine Arts, in the heart of Boston, is offering a Museum of Fine Arts Weekend Package. This special package allows hotel guests to experience the Museum of Fine Arts’ collection of unique pieces of art from Egypt and Asia, and from periods such as Impressionism to American art and even some Contemporary art (including a new contemporary art wing scheduled to open later this year).
This package includes two tickets to the Museum of Fine Arts and overnight accommodations at the Fairmont Copley Plaza. This package is available through December 31, 2011, and rates start at $219 per night, exclusive of taxes.
The Fairmont Copley Plaza is located right in Copley Plaza in the Back Bay of Boston, across from the Shops at Prudential Center and Copley Place. Newbury Street and Boston Common are just a short walk away. The hotel, built in 1912, offers 383 guest rooms that are surprisingly roomy for an older, city hotel. Rooms feature high-speed internet access (free if you are a member of the free Fairmont President’s Club), a working desk, and deluxe bath amenities.
