Portsmouth New Hampshire is one of my favorite weekend getaway destinations, because of its proximity to Boston (about an hour and a half drive) and to Kittery, Maine (only a few short minutes). But in itself, Portsmouth is also a wonderful, quaint, harborside destination with adorable shops and restaurants tucked into every corner.
The Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel is offering a few great packages for the late fall season – one for Portsmouth Restaurant Week during the week of November 4th, and one for the Vintage Christmas Event in Portsmouth.
The Restaurant Week package starts at $185 per night (club upgrades may be available). Guests receive dinner for two from the restaurant week menu at the Harbor’s Edge. Tax and gratuities are included, and the package is available for stays November 4 – 6 and November 8 – 13, 2010.
The Vintage Christmas package starts at $219 per night, or from $239 per night for Club rooms. You’ll receive two tickets to the Music Hall Holiday Program and two tickets to the Strawbery Banke’s Candlelight Stroll. The package is available for Friday and Saturday arrivals from December 4-18th. To book, go online or call 866-716-8120 and reference the special rate plan VINTAGE.
The Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside offers traditional, deluxe, and club-level rooms, all with flat-screen televisions. The hotel is centrally located, and is right across from the harbor.
