The new boutique Rumor just opened in Las Vegas, and rumor is that Rumor has bucketloads of the ’it’ factor. For starters, there’s the hot location on Harmon Avenue across from the Hard Rock, on the site of the old St. Tropez Hotel.

Rumor Las Vegas
Rumor is part of The Seigel Group’s boutique collection of hotels in Las Vegas that includes The Artisan, The Resort on Mount Charleston and Oasis at the Gold Spike.
The Seigel Group bought the property for $10.5 million in 2009, and has spent around $4 million on the makeover.
Stephen Seigel, the group’s CEO, says that the Rumor look and feel is meant to be “Sexy yet unpretentious, glamorous and accessible, eclectic with a relaxing and inviting ambiance.”
The 150 suites spread over two floors are plush and grand with a dark purple palette. The ornate design and the heavy curtains cater to Sin City’s extravagance, not to mention the in-room soaking tub.
The suites still manage to come-off as sleek and modern. Each suite also has a living room and a balcony with a view of either the street or the pool area.

Rumor rivals Hard Rock’s exhibionist tendencies with Chef Vic Vegas’ Addiction Restaurant and the Rumor Bar & Lounge with crystal bar stools and floor-to-ceiling glass walls separating the in-door tables from the open terrace.
The biggest buzz, though, is around the pool area with a wet deck and the large palm-shaded landscaped backyard. The pool parties have already begun, and it’s also a good place to drink cocktails and hang out. The daybeds and cabanas are sure to be very well-used.
As an opening promotion, Rumor is offering the second night free for stays before August 31. Use promo code WEB1 and you must book before July 31. Drop by their facebook page to get a secret password that’ll get you a 2 for 1 drink voucher.
If Rumor Las Vegas does well, The Seigel Group plans to ‘spread the Rumor’ to other cities.

Looks incredible – just what Vegas needed! Can’t wait to see it firsthand in a couple of days!
Due to our busy schedules we have not been able to take our annual vacation so we decided to stay in town and check out Rumor. From the moment we walked in the lobby decorated in all white with unique art work was like a spot right out of Miami. Stephan at the front desk greeted us with a warm smile and checked us in quickly.
I had the pleasure of meeting Rob the GM not your typical GM he was friendly yes that’s right friendly, he sat down and spoke with us for a while he mingled with guest and I even saw him clear dishes off a table. With that attitude alone you should check the place out.
Our room was nicely decorated with a upscale modern decor. When I opened the curtains one morning I honestly forgot I was in Vegas it reminded me so much of the Caribbean; sand, grass, palm trees and hammocks. It was great!
We had dinner at the restaurant Chef Vic is crazy amazing with his food. You have to try the short ribs with candied yams, sliders, sticky chicky, fried Mac and cheese. Not only is the food amazing the service Chef Vic and Paul gave was phenomenal.
We have found our new local get away. Congrats to the entire Rumor family.
