Each spring, visitors to Washington DC can join with residents to celebrate the National Cherry Blossom Festival. The festival, which takes place from March 26 to April 10 this year, coincides with the annual blooming of the thousands of cherry trees along the Tidal Basin and elsewhere in the Nation’s capital. If you plant to attend this year, The Fairmont Washington, D.C. is once again offering guests a unique opportunity to celebrate with their Cherry Blossom Package.

DC Cherry Blossoms in Bloom
The Cherry Blossom Package includes accomodations for two, complimentary valet parking and a box of note cards featuring scenes of the capital’s monuments and Cherry Blossoms by noted local photographer Jake McGuire. The package is available from March 25 to April 15 starting at $229 per night.
Washington DC will also be celebrating La Dolce DC this spring, a citywide Italian festival that runs through the summer. The Fairmont is offering a Roman Holiday Package to coincide with this event, which includes overnight accommodations, dinner for two, tickets to a local art gallery and a copy of the movie Roman Holiday on DVD. Rates for that package start at $309, which may actually be a better a deal if you plan to enjoy dinner and a gallery visit while you’re in town.
You can find out more about all of their packages for the spring and summer on The Fairmont, Washington, D.C. website.
