On today, mid-term election day, we are hearing a lot about the Tea Party. But most Americans know all about that original tea party that took place in Boston Harbor, 237 years ago. If you want to celebrate the original Boston Tea Party, consider the Reenactment Package at the Liberty Hotel in Boston.
The Liberty Hotel, which offers rich history of its own, is the official hotel of the Reenactment being held on December 12th. They are also offering a special package for guests who are looking to stay overnight for the event.
The package includes the following:
- Overnight accommodations at the Liberty Hotel on either December 11th or 12th
- Two tickets to The Old South Meeting House’s Tea Party Reenactment on December 12th (tickets are $8 each)
- Breakfast for two in CLINK, one of the on-site restaurants at the Liberty Hotel
The Liberty Hotel is housed in the former Charles Street jail, which closed back in 1994. Developers worked diligently to maintain many of the defining architectural elements, which makes the building absolutely stunning, inside and out. If you do choose to stay here, I do have to warn you that it’s nearly impossible to find the valet parking entrance – with so many one ways, it’s very easy to get turned around. But once you find it, I’m sure you’ll find that the search was worth it!
