Not for your Family
This hotel is for the Snow Board Set, not a family. The room in which we stayed was decorated very nicely, and clean. I have traveled all over the world, and the beds in our room were the most uncomfortable beds on which I have ever spent time. Bad Implementation...Great Idea
The hotel is on the out skirts of Big Bear lake and ski areas. The rooms are nothing like their picture in terms of size of the room. The pictures on their website are deceiving and make everything look much much bigger -- it is not. The 56" TV is huge and sits 4 feet from the foot of the bed. Do... minxz, a user of Tripadvisor. I've been hearing about THE BLOCK for a long time now. It seems to be the secret cool place that all the "cool" people stay at when they go to Big Bear, so naturally I had to stay there :) and it did not disappoint! Don't Miss The Block!
I have to say right off the staff was exceptional! Joseph was on at the check in and was accommodating, offered us refreshments, and he was laid back and personal.
