After a 4.5 mile in the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest, 11k up in the White Mountains, we looked forward to jumping in the pool at The La Quinta.It was easily 100 degrees that afternoon. We stayed at this hotel for one night on our drive down the 395 from Lake Tahoe to Los Angeles. We should have kept on driving and stayed at the Best Western in Lone Pine.
