Bridgeport Inn has some nice rooms, some not so nice

The Bridgeport Inn is a historic hotel (from the 1800s) with a newer "motor motel" section. While the rooms in the historic inn look nice (especially the Mark Twain suite) the motor motel rooms are not so great. Rudeness at the restaurant

My family recently visited Bridgeport as part of a tour of the Eastern Sierra. While we did not stay at the Bridgeport Inn, we tried to dine in the restaurant on a Sunday night. The Staff were great, friendly, like down home family

We were passing through on 6/24/06 to get and early start through Tioga Pass. My wife recently hyper extended her knee and could only get around with crutches. June 2006: Stopped at the Bridgeport Inn for lunch on our way to Lake Tahoe. What a most refreshing change from our food fare in Lee Vining. The prime rib sandwiches were just delicious!
