On the upside, staff was kind enough to allow us to leave our car in the enclosed hotel parking lot all day, even though we wouldn't be staying at the hotel a second night. more on TripAdvisor

Certainly not a huge deal, but there was a program we were expecting to be able to watch, and were unable to do so. more on TripAdvisor

So, all in all, a reasonable deal for decent accommodations super close to the border. more on TripAdvisor

The reason for the stay was to get dental work done in Mexicali which is a short walk over the border from Villa Sur. more on TripAdvisor

but the furnishings were in great condition and everything was scrupulously clean. more on TripAdvisor
