Midway between Santa
Barbara and San
Francisco, Cambria is
a picturesque Californian seaside village and great vacation destination. The Cambria
Chamber of Commerce family lodging listing helped us fine the perfect
family vacation lodging. You’ll love the
pet and kid-friendly Cambria Shores Inn. Our kids loved the homemade cookies in the
afternoon, and the attentive staff prepared their special “Fido-friendly” gift
basket for our dog. The receptionist
recommended a great beach to the north, where we spotted elephant seals playing
in the surf.
Travel Guides and associations awarded The Blue Whale Inn “Four Kisses” and we agree with
their “most romantic,” four-star ratings.
We liked room #7, with an exquisite view of the Pacific
Ocean viewable from the huge tub or comfy bed. Gourmet breakfasts and incredible sunsets
make for a perfect stay at this gracious Bed & Breakfast lodging in Cambria.
We liked the historic and elegant Olallieberry Inn in Cambria
for welcoming families, yet making romantic couples feel special. Traveling with the kids, we chose the
Creekside suite, where they slept by the fire, while we enjoyed a huge
king-sized bed. Complimentary evening
appetizers were unique and appetizing! We
loved our fresh, home-made breakfast the following morning--definitely
deserving its “Best Breakfast in America” rating by Cambria-area
Travel Guides.
