We just finished a 4 night stay at the Residence Inn in Carlsbad. We live in the area but needed a place to stay while we had some work done on our house. I was not very excited about staying here. Didn't get the room that I was guaranteed when I booked this hotel. When I ask about it they wanted to know the first and last name of the person that booked it for me. Very clean and well equipted. I loved having a separate living/kitchen area from the bathroom/bedroom. We have a four month old, and found it a perfect setup, as she could sleep undisturbed in the living area, while we stayed up in our bedroom watching tv.
