Carmel-by-the-Sea
is a famous artist colony and the best choice for an interesting and
educational family vacation. Carmel is a pet-friendly
city. You’ll just love the annual dog
calendar, which poses dogs by famous historical sites. We heartily recommend the centrally located Hofsas House Hotel, a distinguished Inn with Bavarian flair and hospitality. Our kids loved the large, uniquely shaped
swimming pool while we gravitated towards the nearby dry sauna. The staff was friendly and helpful, welcoming
our entire family, including our dog!
Breakfasts are included with delightful, home-made pastries from local
bakeries.
Do you enjoy European ambiance and convenient location? Then check into Svendgaard’s Inn, at
Carmel-by-the-Sea for tasteful and elegant lodging. Svendgaard’s enjoys a well-deserved “Three
Diamond Award” by Travel Guides, offering a large outdoor pool, scenic setting,
and in-room fireplaces and spas.
Svendgaard’s is a pet-friendly lodge, and your pet companion will enjoy
Carmel-by-the-Sea as much as you do!
Does your family enjoy the personalized attention of a Bed
& Breakfast Inn? Choose The Green Lantern Inn for your next
stay at Carmel-by-the-Sea. We stuffed
ourselves with waffles each morning, and the kids loved their loft-quarters in
our two-floor accommodations in the spacious Redwood Room. Romantic couples vacationing in Carmel should consider
the tasteful Magnolia Room with its own brick fireplace and wood paneling.
