A great place to stay, but...

My husband and I stayed there with our dog in March 2006. The Tradewinds has many great qualities, but there are a few things that offset some of the positive features. The Tradewinds looks like an older motel when you drive up the hill, but once you turn into the small parking lot you note a stylish front office and lush garden. Near Perfection in Carmel!

I’m writing this review while still at the property sitting in the Zen Meditation garden listening to the peacefulness of the fountain in front of me along with the wonderful Japanese Garden in front of our room. Its amazing what the owners have done with a 48 year old property, but in one word the place is fantastic. More detail will follow: Location: The Inn is located at Mission and Third.
