It was a good stay in Vagabond Inn, acutually I had to attend a seminar at chico state and it is one of the closest Motels available more on Travelocity.com

The motel was right in the middle of downtown so we were able to walk to cafes, the park, university campus, and to a good bookstore, etc. The pool was right next to the road, but fine otherwise. more on TravelPost.com
