i read their ad in a del mar brochure and im not impressed after being taken in by the "beautiful oceanview & steps from the beach and shops". the so called shops are more than 3 - 4 blocks down the highway and the oceanview was blocked by the housing behind the hotel. the bathroom was impressi... Naturally, I didn't stay here. I live in San Diego and just went home. However I drove past the place and thought it worth mentioning for a couple of reasons. Standard Rooms are a Horrible Ripoff

I booked a "standard room" (the only rooms that were offered) through expedia. What they don't tell you is that the standard rooms are terrible little caves with little light near the road and the alley in the back of the property.
