Don't bother with this place

We stayed here 2-3x/year for 10+ years, but now will never go back. Several weeks after making our reservation by phone, the woman who now runs the place called us up and asked us to stay somewhere else, because she wanted to charge double the price she had quoted us! The Eagle House has many pecularities

We stayed one night at the Eagle House, a summer Friday night for $195 (the staff kept stressing that it was their high season, as if in apology).
