interesting Japanese hotel in Gardena, Calif.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel and would have ranked it higher except it is rather old and in need of remodeling. Despite the dated 1980s style furnishings, ugly teal carpet, and chipped tile and woodwork, it was one of the cleanest hotels I've ever visited. It's probably no secret to the people of California, but there are a lot of people of Japanese ancestry living in Gardena, which makes it a fantastic place to stay ... mrsbrak, a user of Tripadvisor.
