Bring your own toilet paper

My first experience with Hawthorn will likely be my last. Only one other car in the parking lot on my first night should have been a clear warning sign. Problems??? Really??? Great value, comfortable room

I'd stayed at this location for about 2 weeks back in 2003, when my family and I had first moved to California. Back then it seemed like a hidden gem, for rates that are on average ~20-30/night lower than what the other big brand hotels charge you get a mini (fridge, stove, sink) or full suite in a clean hotel, which also serves a hot breakfast in the morning.
