Great location for a Yosemite vacation

it's just a motel really, but the setting is so beautiful you're almost inclined to believe otherwise... with the large trees surrounding it, the river running in the back and the swings and barbeques on the lawns, it looks really charming.

I made reservations at this hotel over the phone using my debit card. 1 day before I left on vacation, I received a overdraft notice from my bank. Don't stay here! We had a terrible experience. First off when they take your credit card to “reserve the room” they run it right away. Who does that? No one. Great place to escape
We showed up very late on a Friday night to find someone still at the front desk. The grounds were nicely done with lots of personal touches. We chose to stay at this hotel from some favorable reviews of other Trip Advisors - we should have followed the advice of the unfavorable reviews.
