My husband and I wanted a place not too far from home for a little weekend getaway. Many properties on the coast in the Gualala or Fort Bragg areas require a two night minimum stay which we couldn't do. Its the vacation home we wish we could enjoy
Let me start out by saying that the coastline in this part of Ca. is spectacular. If my wife and I could afford it, we would by a house (or anything) with views of the ocean here. Seacliff
The most cozy hotel my wife an I have ever been to. Exceptionally clean and all of the conveniences anyone could ask for. A free bottle of champagne ---my goodness what a nice touch! great location and great value
My wife and I have stayed here before, but never in the summer, when the river mouth is closed off. The rates are about $20 more in the "hot" season, but I think it is definitely worth it. wonderful, peaceful place
I loved this place with one exception. they do not have air conditioning so if it is a warm day you go into a very warm room with no way to cool it quikly. they have a standing fan in each room, but it takes a long time to cool the room down. otherwise, I loved this place and would stay there aga...
