We lived in the Bay Area for 8 years as a military couple. As beautiful as the places around it are, it is hard to find somewhere affordable that isn't congested by people and cars and still close enough to the city for a weekend getaway. Wish we could've stayed longer!
We were only staying 1 night on our way down the coast, but wished we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the amenities. We were upgraded to a room with a golf course view and a fireplace - it was lovely!
