I am a pass holder at Kirkwood. I have stayed in multiple lodging facilities and have had great experiences. However, recently, I booked a last minute night at Kirkwood to enjoy fresh snow and were given a room at the Basecamp. The rooms are in need of a major renovation. We stayed in Kirkwood for the weekend to take advantage of the fresh powder. Having never been there before, I took the booking agent's recommendation and reserved a room in the Base camp. Mistake.
