4.0: Great location; lacking some of the basics

WHAT PLEASED US: We have 3 primary criteria when we travel: cleanliness, location and price. The Laguna Brisas met all of them. WHAT DISAPPOINTED US: Not all rooms are equal despite equal rates. No laundry facilities. THE LONG VERSION: The first thing I will say is that there are no laundry facilities at this hotel. That threw us off because we generally pack light and run a load or 2 of laundry when we travel. The location of the hotel is fantastic for the price. 99 steps to the beach is a good estimate if you take long strides. It's across the street and down a paved ramp. Note that it's not the main beach in Laguna, but a smaller private beach used by the few hotels nearby and some private residences. Personally, I preferred it to the main beach.
