Pefect Getaway
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Stevenswood. The setting is peaceful and beautiful and the rooms are extremely well appointed. The staff is incredibly accomodating, with a sincere desire to make sure their guests are enjoying their stay. They even found a way to make my lighting for night reading... HORRIBLE RESERVATIONS POLICY
I made reservations for my husband and I, anticipating a fairly luxurious weekend at this resort. Due to a change in his travel plans, we had to cancel the reservation the next day. Great place to relax
My husband and I have spent our last two wedding anniversaries at Stevenswood Lodge and are returning again this year. The inn is lovely and the staff is welcoming and helpful, this in addition to the sheer beauty of the surroundings. From the Stevens Suite one can look out the window to the sout... Not really a bed and breakfast....
The rooms are very nice, peaceful, quiet, clean and comfortable. Service was good here. My complaint is the breakfast. We had to make reservations, then although the menu was set so all we did was order drinks, it took a full 20 minutes to get our food with only 1 other couple in the dining room.... perfect honeymoon
My husband and I thought this place was heaven on earth. The air smells woodsy and wonderful, forest creatures (deer, chipmunks) approach the breakfast area while you are eating - the staff puts out bowls of stuff for them, so you can watch them through the huge windows.
