I've stayed at this hotel several times since it was built around 2001-ish. It's a move away from the old-school "clapboard" Residence Inn model, instead being in a Mediterranean Villa style, and I don't think any of the rooms open directly onto the outside - but all onto normal hotel corridors, which is comforting if you're worried about security. The grounds are pleasant, with nicely cut lawns, pool, hot tub, basketball hoop, well equipped gym, etc., there's plenty of car parking both underground ... mike-smashing, a user of Tripadvisor.
