no complaints from the Middle of Downtown LA USA. This Hotel is in the middle of the Red Light district. Not dangerous, as I saw many LAPD crusiers pass by although none of them ever stopped. The local inhabitants were mostly intoxicated ... more on Yahoo! Travel

I stayed there two weeks in February 2000, and it was not so bad. Sure, not the top, but I paid then $15 a day and I had TV set in the room too!!
